Erlistoun Project
The Erlistoun Project comprises gold and non-nickel base metal rights to approximately 200km² of tenements held by Heron Resources Limited and located 30 to 70 kilometres north of Laverton.
The tenements are dominated by mafic volcanic, sedimentary and ultramafic rocks and granites of the Laverton greenstone belt, located along the gold-prospective Laverton-Hootanui Shear Zone of the Laverton Tectonic Zone, which hosts historical gold mining centres at Cork Tree Well and King of Creation and the major Granny Smith and Sunrise Dam deposits to the south of Laverton.
Previous exploration has indicated geochemical anomalies that require follow up with further surface sampling, and RAB drilling, if warranted. In particular, the mineralised structures trending north from Cork Tree Well and south from King of Creation beneath shallow alluvial cover sequences are targets that will be further explored.
